Among the three towns nested on 26-mile-long Topsail Island, Surf City is the largest. My beach town comes alive in the summer time when tourists flood the line up (the swell is better in the winter anyway). After the sun sets behind the marsh, the sky is illuminated by fireworks and laughter can be heard everywhere you go. This magical island is the source of my inspiration. Take a look around and try not to fall in love with Surf City.
